The first-ever Bluetech 45 named M/S Plana has been delivered on 30th July in Yangzijiang shipyard in China to its owner Navibulgar. The vessel meets with all of its performance criteria and even exceeds its specifications in speed, fuel efficiency and deadweight.
M/S Plana with its ECO design is based on the successful Bluetech 42 Handymax series. With the increased load capacity (45 500 DWT) and with the modernized B&W MAN main engine 5G50ME-C9.5, the vessel features the highest eco standards on the market.
Plana is designed and built according to DNV-GL class regulations, ice-class 1C and relevant international rules for safety and protection. According to the yard building schedule, the following five sister vessels will be delivered later this year and early next year.
