Le Commandant Charcot – Ponant

Bluetech has conducted structural analyses for the first Polar Class (PC) 2 icebreaking cruise ship, Le Commandant Charcot from Ponant. The work was done with Aker Arctic and VARD, the builder of the LNG-powered luxury cruise ship.

The works included a full FE-analysis of the ship, including global and local analyses for normal seagoing and Ice ramming loads.
